Itinerary

Day 01 :
Arrival in Bawta

Your trekking adventure begins with your arrival in Bawta, a village known for its traditional wooden houses. You'll settle into your accommodation for the night and prepare for the trek ahead.

Day 02 :
Bawta to Jakha

The first day of trekking takes you from Bawta to the unique village of Jakha. Known as the "Hanging Village," it appears to be perched precariously on the mountainside. The trail is a continuous ascent through dense forests, with changing landscapes and refreshing air to energize you.

Day 03 :
Jakha to Dandreyash Thatch

Today is a long but rewarding trek to Dandreyash Thatch. The trail takes you through magnificent forests and open meadows, providing stunning panoramic views of snow-capped peaks. You'll camp near the base of the majestic Rupin Waterfall.

Day 04 :
Rest and Acclimatization Day at Dandreyash Thatch

This day is crucial for your body to acclimate to the higher altitude. You'll spend the day resting and exploring the vast meadows of Dandreyash Thatch, enjoying the peaceful surroundings and the spectacular view of the waterfall.

Day 05 :
Dandreyash Thatch to Upper Waterfall

You'll begin with a gradual ascent, moving from the lower campsite to the Upper Waterfall. This short but steep climb takes you closer to the pass and to a breathtaking high-altitude campsite surrounded by cliffs and snow patches.

Day 06 :
Upper Waterfall to Ronti Gad via Rupin Pass

This is the most challenging and exciting day of the trek. You'll begin a steep ascent, navigating snowfields and a narrow gully to reach the formidable Rupin Pass. From the pass, you'll be rewarded with incredible 360-degree views of the Dhauladhar and Kinnaur ranges before descending to the campsite at Ronti Gad.

Day 07 :
Ronti Gad to Sangla & Drive to Shimla

On the final day of the trek, you'll descend from Ronti Gad through alpine meadows and shepherds' trails, eventually reaching the scenic Sangla Valley. From Sangla, a long and picturesque drive will take you back to Shimla, marking the end of your incredible journey.
