Itinerary
Travel from Rishikesh to Joshimath. This is a long journey and serves as the starting point for the trek.
After a short drive from Joshimath to the road head at Dhak, the trek begins. You'll hike from Dhak to Guling Top, a scenic campsite that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Trek from Guling to Khallare Top. This day's hike takes you through beautiful forests and meadows, bringing you closer to the heart of the Himalayas. Khallare Top is another excellent campsite with panoramic vistas.
The most exciting day of the trek! You'll ascend from Khullara Top to the Kuari Pass. The pass itself provides a breathtaking 360-degree view of some of the highest peaks in India, including Nanda Devi, Dronagiri, and Kamet. After spending time at the pass, you'll retrace your steps back to the campsite at Khullara Top.
Begin your descent, trekking from Khullara all the way back to Joshimath. This day's hike marks the end of the trekking portion of the journey.
